What I did???
Basically what I did was, for all the people who were involved in my focus group for the evaluation, I invited them to watch my animation as many times as they wished and once they had watched it I handed them each a piece of scrap paper and pen for them to write their answers to the questions which you will find above this... This was all for the benefit of taking to the focus group and sharing their thoughts to me and the group.

Missed Questions?????
Sadly as I was recording all the footage for the focus group my smart phone decided to stop recording. This was annoying, so that meant I had to write down some notes of what everyone said for the last remaining questions.
Do you like the look of the sets and characters used???
Darius: "Yes very much so, the ghosts are my stand out point as they have that real Pacman feel."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve: "Once again colours are thought about well".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaron: "I think Alex can agree with me here, we have made the sets and characters as professional as we can. Like Darius said the ghosts have a real feel to them".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay: "I don't know if you are trying to incorporate it but the Pacman looks French with his hat, I know it is not related to Dominos or Bandai Namcos but has happened in the news lately, it is a nice touch".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyle: "Having a black set brings the whole animation to life and bring out colours too. Good complimentary colours well done".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you see the logos and text clearly???
Darius: "I know we are talking about text/logos but I see a kind of star symbol at the end. I would of liked that to just last a bit longer in duration but overall text and logos are high quality".
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve: "The logo is very choppy looking with some plastercine moving about in places, very distracting to look at the main point of focus".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay: "The '9' for the 97 score is upside down. I couldn't get the gif of what number it was".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyle: "Going back to Steve's point, I felt like I was out at sea with the choppy parts making me feel sea sick. Needed to be more accurate to increase the quality next time".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaron: "As we did this over two sessions, the quality was ruined when someone mucked up our work in the week".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What grade is the technical quality???
Jay: "To a high quality, Domino's will be proud of your efforts". (laughter)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve: "It's amazing how all animation comes together and this is just another prime example".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius: "High quality minus the little choppy hiccups along the way".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyle: "I would say, I was left confused when the score went from 161 to 691. The numbers were far from consistent".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaron: "Our animation is the best around. No one will beat it! Top, top, top technical quality marks"!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How would you grade the creativeness of this video???
Steve: "I liked your thinking of adding in the horse at the end to remind me this is Dominos, nice touch to end".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay: "I am with Steve, it made me laugh".
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaron: "It was my idea to add it on at the end but Alex participated by adding in a Bandai Namco's intro at the start".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius: "It is like seeing Pacman to another level. I reckon also you can make this video into a real life 2D game".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyle: "I have seen an MTV version too, so I take it the inspiration came from this. Both you and their ideas are completely out of the box ideas".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is the technique used acceptable???
Darius: "Yes any day and month".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay: "In some places it is but then again in some places not so much".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve: "Yes, you have done a good job".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaron: "Of course it is, our idea is the best around"!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyle: "I think this is a good effort as a first attempt of animation. A very exciting challenging experience for us all as a group".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Missed Questions????
Just like a rerun of the focus group this morning, my smart phone told me I have no more storage left for my video so that meant I was left with some footage (above) and the other half for me to write up. (below)
Some reason my phone picked out some footage of the question 'Explain and assess areas for improvements and suggest possible solutions' but the other half didn't record. I have wrote up the missing footage for this question (below)

Explain and assess areas for improvements and suggest possible solutions
"When actually animating at the very start of moving the ghosts along the track we moved them far to quickly! This meant quality was a low key. We did ease of the speed towards the end but next time we would need to ease that speed throughout, not just one point. Quality was also affected when we realised we could of took a whole lot more photographic stills to bolster up the duration".
Reflection: "I had limited resources to make my film and this comment shows that Darius (as the audience) felt positive about the result".
Justify choice: "I see where you are coming from, if we had a free range of whatever resources we could use I reckon we would be able to come up and produce a much better animation. Honestly I wish now I could of stuck with wire not plastercine".
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*AARON KEY POINT: "The movements could have been more precise".
Reflection: "This audience commonly suggests that more time needed to be provided for the animation movement section".
Justify choice: "Yes I couldn't agree more as everything was done at such a quick speed. Needed to take foot of pedal on many occasions such as the moving of the ghosts. If we had moved it inch by inch very slowly we would of had more photographic stills resulting a more precise advert and longer duration".
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* STEVE KEY POINT: "I liked the horse at the end, it was a lasting impression".
Reflection: "The idea of having a 'lasting impression' is really important with regards to media content because it shows that you have remembered the advert/film".
Justify choice: "The horse at the end caught everyone's attention apparently when I looked up facts about this advert. I only put it in to bulk up the duration bench mark, which still I failed to achieve".
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* JAY KEY POINT: "The opening audio was set to loud, it hurt my ears and when I turned it down it was still to loud".
Reflection: "I will take note of this comment and be more aware of the sound volume in future".
Justify choice: "No I disagree with you here Jay as when I was editing the video it was made to a moderate volume and asking my tutor for thoughts on the volume, he said it was just right".
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*LYLE KEY POINT: "The animation set could have been laid out with a bit more order, as it did seem a bit all over the place".
Reflection:" So as to avoid being too cluttered with my stop motion preparation, I can be better organized with my plastercine models and sets".
Justify choice: "Yes I couldn't agree more. We did draw up a plan beforehand but sadly the whole animation didn't turn out how we wanted it to be. Plastercine was the main all over the place pointer, resulting in choppiness and low quality".
