My Playstation 4 Games Case Design
First Version
Gaining feedback from tutor...
Final Version (acting upon this)
Having read and understood the feedback given from my tutor I needed to make some important changes to my game case. Starting out with changing the green text to a more dark spies grey feel. By doing this I am able to stay within my color palate of black, white, blue, white and red.
As you can see in my original there was a Russian rugby ball and both I and tutor thought it changed the idea of a spies based game into a rugby game. This has been removed from the final edit now.
With a car in the original this was not just a car I put in, it was a car on the actual street during the time of taking the picture itself so my tutor suggested to block this out as the owner of the car wont be happy if they saw this.
To give the spy character that extra spy feel my tutor suggested having a gun in hand so I have tried my best to Photoshop one in and now as I look at this know this was a good decision to make.
To conclude the whole changes I made the little extra touches to make it the best I can, for instance adding a text synopsis to the back cover, changing the poor font choice first time round and adding in a title to the spine.
Even more feedback...
After thinking I had got the final version finished off, my tutor went on to pick out little tweaks which could be possibly made and as ever I went on to challenge myself to those pointers. As follows...
. Sort out the back end of the helicopter- its missing
. Try and get the gun more in the hand it appears to be floating in the air.
As you can see in my skyline I have changed it to a more slick dark red color than the original.
