Mind Map
I designed this mind map as evidence to show my early thought process and initial ideas.

Moodboard
This moodboard is a collection of images which link very well to how I want my action sequence to plan out.

Location research
College Carpark
K021 Art and Design department room

Here is just below the staircase. Both to portray a dark little area, ready for a character to pounce. Due to changes in plans also the location where the all but important 'fight scene' will take place. As you can see their is a car located outside in a silver color. This is not my car but this is exactly where we want my car to be when it pulls outside of the building. Looking around KO21 (the hostage room), we found a chair, perfect for its location due to its next to the window position. Hostage Darius will be sat here with rope and duct tape locking him down. This is just a general picture of an area in K021, to give you audience a feel of what surroundings there are in the room, so you can have a sense for yourselves. This is not a behind shot but it is close to being one as this is the most preferable angle we are going to have the camera, as it is out my way and you are seeing all the kind of features, for example my facial expressions. | Surrounding K021 is a corridor with many noisy rooms. This is for us to bare in mind when shooting the hostage scene. The car is gone now but here is an even closer shot to give you an exact feel of where the car will pull up next to the pavement. This shot will be seen in the film. Getting an even further feel of the surroundings of our hostage room. Possibly put the chair up against the white board the room more visible and believable as a viewer. Here is an angle in the car (behind the wheel shot), it is a possible angle where to shoot me in the car, but it will be quite difficult with having the camera in front of me whilst driving. It will distract me from the road. Another angle in the car but this time of me this time actually driving to get a feel of what it will be like come the day of shooting. I am seen in a wide shot. |
This is the all but important behind shot, featuring the back of my head. This is to provide to the audience a feel of what it is like being a passenger in the back seat of the car. Obviously, we are not going to have a passenger in the car, it is just for the cameraman to film that certain shot.
