Inspiration for the Action...
Ideas for a quick pace action sequence came from every action movie in this top 10 list so that gave us inspiration for speed and to include quick shots which are instant to see. By having quick shots in each and every example above we would then thought of incorporating much more shots as after all this has got to have a duration of 2 to 5 minutes.
Locations and possible shooting places in that location also came from this. For example the cleaning storage area could be a abandoned room where the hostage could be sat.

The Guns (weaponry)
With the majority of the above video there
is guns or some kind of weaponry involved
as the main prop and that is seen in main/big
parts of the scenes. This gave us the thought
of a character being an American policeman.

The policeman is only American due to the fact it is illegal for a British policeman to have armed weaponry on him and that would not make sense. The sequence will see the ex policeman driving along enjoying his days of retirement before being called up by Police headquarters to deal with a case which him is able to do.
As seen in...
It may not be a film but the TV series of "Traffic Cops" gave me the idea of being in the car as in this series it would see a police officer driving in a police car on his way to a incident.
A good old child hood film of "The Incredibles" at the end for the ending scene before the movie finishes got me inspired for the ex policeman to change from normal clothing to striping out to his policeman gear.
This may confuse the viewer to watch this as you can not exactly go from one set of clothes in a click of a second or either do that process whilst driving or else you would crash. Having this slight issue may need me to rethink of a back up, which may just feature him staying in his normal clothes and just whips out a gun when he arrives at the scene. Plus another consideration we do not have a police officer costume available.
